Mohinder Nijjar M.D. Q.M.E.

Dr. Mohinder Nijjar is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon, practicing in California since 1980. Over the years his practice has been greatly involved with the workers compensation system where he specializes in the hand, back, and knee. His reputation for being thorough and objective has resulted in numerous requests for him to perform AME Evaluations. He has been performing QME/AME evaluations since 1993 and is experienced with the AMA guidelines of disability rating.

Dr. Nijjar completed medical school at Down State University in New York followed by residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York where he became chief resident. He also served as the Director of Orthopedic Surgery for UCD Programme in Modesto, California. Besides actively treating patients, Dr, Nijjar has published two articles discussing the practical management of knee injuries.

Dr. Nijjar is a practitioner that consistently gives his patients the level of care that not only comes from the practical application of current medical knowledge but also from a position of compassion and understanding.
